Hi! I’m Lisa and I am so happy you stopped by! Everyone has things to do, so I’m touched you are spending time reading my rambles!
Who is Lisa?
I am an INFJ in a crazy world! I am not committed to putting down roots yet, but I currently live in Deer Park, Texas. Sounds tranquil right? It’s anything but, but it’s a fine community to live and raise a kid. I was raised here and I turned out mostly okay. As an INFJ, I enjoy spending time alone. My favorite hobbies include reading, writing, and painting. My all-time favorite book is The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo (I love anything by him!) and To Kill A Mockingbird. I have just begun exploring my new hobby of painting. It’s fun and relaxing! I’ll share my works with you all. Some of my other favorite things are white wine, watching old sitcoms on Netflix, Facebooking and playing on Pinterest and playing with my daughter.
GRIT – Girl Raised in Texas
Born in Georgia but raised in the Houston area, my life is greatly influenced by the great state of Texas. I love rodeos in February, blue bonnets in spring, toobing the Guadalupe in the summer, and a warm bowl of chili in the winter. Southern gentility is greatly appreciated by this Texan girl.
Meet my co-star in life, Brooklyn, also called The Brooklyn because she is awesome enough to have an article. She is three and the love of my life. Her favorite things include Bubble Guppies, Elsa and Anna, and My Little Pony. She occasionally likes her blankie, Crayons, cuddling, and a cold sippy cup of milk.
My partner in crime is Brooklyn’s dad, Jonathan. We met almost 5 years ago. He is the lead guitarist for Desecrate the Faith. Catch them on tour in 2015!
Why does Lisa write?
I love writing and expressing my thoughts and opinions. Don’t laugh, but when I was in high school, I may have written fan fiction on oh-so-nerdy Friday nights. Now that I am nearing the end of my schooling and have officially hit 30, I’ve decided to try my hand at blogging.
What does Lisa write about?
My interests! Food, crafts, my own struggles with weight and weight loss, and all the ah-mazing things The Brooklyn does.
